I wouldn't say I have a problem. Oh, okay fine--I have a problem.

Around mid-July, Target (my favorite store in the whole wide world) begins to pare down their summer section and starts laying out their Back to School section.  If you ever stop and watch the employees staging this section, you may catch a glimpse of a woman standing nearby, rubbing her hands together Mr. Burns-style.

That woman?  That's me.

A Slow Start...

...but a start nonetheless! I've decided to try my hand at a teaching blog.  I've always loved sharing ideas, and I love stalking visiting other teaching blogs.  This will be my sixteenth year of teaching, four of which were spent as an intervention/Reading First coach.  I am about to start my twelfth year of second grade, and I just love how our profession allows us to turn a new page each year.  A new school year means endless possibilities and new opportunities for growth! Please bear with me as I tweak and change the blog to my liking and get all of my "bells and whistles" going.  To tide you over until then, head on over and check out some of the freebies in my Teachers Pay Teachers store!
